Admission procedure for BAC + 2 – for year 3 at CPE Lyon (1st year engineer course)

Admission on the basis of continual assessment (6 students per year).
Students from scientific grandes écoles preparatory classes (CPGE):
- In a MP (mathematics and physics), PC (physics and chemistry), PSI (physics and engineering sciences) PT (physics and technology), TSI (technology, engineering sciences) for the “Electronics - Telecommunications – Informatics” speciality.
- In PC (physics and chemistry), TPC (technology, physics and chemistry) for the “Chemistry - Process Engineering” speciality.
Admission is on the basis of a “Groupe Concours Polytechniques” examination. Practical information about registering and examinations are circulated by the Groupe Concours Polytechniques to high schools.

Eligible courses:
In Chemistry - Chemical Engineering
- Science and technology degrees in: chemistry / biochemistry / physics (course or physics and chemistry specialization) / engineering sciences (course or process engineering specialization)
- DUT (Bac +2): chemistry or chemical engineering
- Degree 2 materials science (course: chemistry, biochemistry, physics)
In Electronics - Telecommunications – Computer science:
- Science and technology degrees: engineering science (course or electronics – electrical engineering – automation specialization) / physics (course or physics specialization) / mathematics (course or mathematics and applied mathematics specialization)
- DUT: GEII (electrical engineering – industrial information systems) / physics measurements / (telecommunication and network engineering)
Mesures Physiques / GTR (Génie des Télécommunications et Réseaux) - Degree in science and technology for engineers or materials science physics course or mathematics, informatics and applied sciences
- ATS preparatory classes

Pharmacist engineer course (Chemistry - Chemical Engineering speciality)
Students enrolled at the Institut des Sciences Pharmaceutiques et Biologiques (ISPB)
of the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 may opt for the “pharmacist – engineer” course and complete years 4 and 5 at CPE Lyon.
