Your first job
Being an actor

”Companies prefer to take on a young graduate with a career plan rather than someone that is undecided”
That’s why CPE Lyon includes establishing a career plan in its courses so that every student finds a job to suit them.
We have therefore developed a course in which students are able to be actors in their future.
| Year 3 | - Sketch out a career plan
- Find out about different engineering professions
- Do an introductory placement in a company
|
|---|
| Year 4 | - Validate choices
- Choose options
- Start establishing a network of contacts
- Do a placement in the chosen sector
|
|---|
| Year 5 | - Finalise the professional plan
- Complete studies
- Develop a relationship network
- Complete the end of course placement
- Start exploring employment possibilities
|
|---|
Giving you the tools
We train our students in recruitment techniques (CV, covering letter, interviews…).
On request we also organise mock interviews conducted by human resources managers or company recruitment managers.
Helping you to find a job
“No student should be on his or her own when looking for a job.”
CPE Lyon follows up young graduates for 5 years and offers personalised guidance:
- Advice and information about openings.
- Support in exploring possibilities.
- Circulating job vacancies by e-mail.
