Visit of Chinese students from Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT)

The visit was part of the Chimie-Pékin programme by the Fédération Gay-Lussac (FGL).

The students and their professors were warm welcomed with a presentation of the school, and the engineering programme by the international, followed by a tour of CPE Lyon’s chemistry laboratories.

The visits, organised by professors from the organic chemistry, biotechnology and process engineering departments, provided an opportunity to showcase the recently renovated teaching and scientific equipment.

Both the students and their supervisors were particularly impressed by the modern infrastructure and the quality of the facilities.

BUCT students generally join CPE Lyon as part of a one-semester academic exchange, most often in semester 9, to specialise in the ‘Perfectionnement en Génie des procédés’ track.
