Four new double-degree courses with the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi (UQAC)
CPE Lyon has signed four double-diplomas courses with UQAC in the digital sciences field. More specifically, our digital sciences (Electronics – Telecommunications – Computer Science programme) students will have the opportunity to complete their fifth year (2nd year of Master’s degree) at this partner institution and obtain both a CPE Lyon engineering diploma and the partner institution’s diploma (Master’s degree).
Starting in the 2026 academic year, four new specialisations will be available: general computer science, cybersecurity, video games and artificial intelligence.
These new agreements mark an important step in the development of the partnership with UQAC.
These four new agreements for double-diplomas strengthen the partnership with UQAC and complement the dual degree in cosmetology that has been in place for several years.

Development of dual degrees with the University of Sherbrooke

CPE Lyon will sign a new agreement for three new double-diplomas courses in Chemistry:
- Nanomaterials and advanced characterisation
- Organic synthesis and pharmaceutical chemistry
- Analytical and instrumental sciences
The Analytical and Instrumental Sciences programme will open for the first time in August 2027.
These new double-diplomas courses, particularly those with the University of Sherbrooke, were negotiated as part of Edith GIACOMAZZI’s broader mission to Canada last October, on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the TASSEP network (Trans-Atlantic Science Student Exchange Program), held at the University of Montreal, a long-standing academic partner of our school.
