CPE Lyon joined ABILITY

CPE Lyon joined a new project, called ABILITY in 2024. Its aim is to develop European projects within the school and for the Lyon region as a whole. Since then, two European project coordinators, Alexandre Châteauraynaud and Solène Brunet, joined the international relations team at CPE Lyon in January 2025.

Entitled ‘Integrated strategy for diversifying resources: mobilising European funds for research (Horizon Europe) and training (Erasmus+) with a strong societal impact’, ABILITY is being led by a Lyon-based consortium as part of the ASDESR call for proposals (Acceleration of Development Strategies for Higher Education and Research Institutions). Coordinated by Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (UCBL), the project brings together 10 other institutions and universities in the Lyon area: CPE Lyon, Université Lumière Lyon 2, Lyon Ingénierie Projets, École normale supérieure Lyon, Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, CNRS, INRIA, INRAE, INSERM and HCL. ABILITY covers a broad scientific spectrum: human and social sciences, health, engineering, digital, fundamental and applied sciences.

CPE Lyon wishes to develop projects in chemical engineering, biotechnology and digital sciences within the frame of Erasmus + program through cooperation partnerships, partnerships for excellence, capacity-building projects and Erasmus mundus. In addition, researchers in our laboratories are open to collaborate on Horizon Europe projects.

ABILITY once again places CPE Lyon has a renowned French engineering school deeply committed to international cooperation and European values.
