Students took part in a biotechnology Spring School in Germany
Five students from the EBS programme, accompanied by Mira Maalouf, a lecturer in the Biotechnology department, took part in an intensive week-long course in Germany from 20 to 24 April 2026.

This spring school in biotechnology, organised by Biberach University of Applied Sciences (Germany), welcomed students from CPE Lyon and Vilnius University (Lithuania) for an intensive week.
Over the course of a week, the students worked on bioprocesses and the culture of animal cells in bioreactors, antibody production, as well as the implementation of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) protocols, and morespecifically on the conditions for implementing bioprocesses in a sterile environment.
This immersion helped to strengthen their technical skills and their ability to thrive in a collaborative international environment. It also provided an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and students from the Department of Biotechnology, as well as with a group of Lithuanian students, fostering scientific and intercultural exchanges.
