New international students at CPE Lyon

4 new international students from Greece, Germany, Argentina and Belgium have joined the school for the second semester in both chemistry and digital sciences departments. These students have come to the school as part of the Erasmus + programme or binational mobility programmes.

Integration Day

On Thursday February 6th, the International Relations Department, Melting Potes association, the language teachers and IPL (Institut Polytechnique de Lyon) organised an day of integration for the new international students, coming to study in Lyon for the second part of the year.

The festive afternoon was the opportunity to celebrate the Lunar New Year (Chinese New Year). Students were able to practice Chinese and Japanese calligraphy, play a Vietnamese board game, draw anime characters and enjoy a delicious cup of tea.

In the evening, the international students shared a ‘raclette’ at ISARA with other students from  Institut Polytechnique de Lyon (ECAM, ISARA et ITECH). Each student brought sweet treats from their home country to share with the others. It was a convivial and friendly moment with many intercultural exchanges.

Treasure hunt to discover Lyon

On Sunday 23 February, they also took part in a treasure hunt organised by Melting Potes (the international students’ association) to discover the main places of Lyon.
