The application process depends on your country of residence. Find below the steps and requirements that apply to your situation, whether you apply through the Études en France procedure or directly to CPE Lyon.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS 

FIRST PART – THROUGH THE PLATFORM :Application file → Language test → Diploma authentication → Campus France interview

SECOND PART – CPE LYON :Academic assessment → Motivation interview

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Preparation of the application file (application fees are due upon submission)
2. Submission of the file to incoming.students@cpe.fr
3. Academic evaluation by CPE Lyon
4. Online interview and language test
5. Sharing of the outcome

2. Curriculum Vitae with photo (in English)
3. Motivation letter (in English)
4. Copy of identity document
5. Copy of baccalaureate or equivalent diploma grades
6. Complete transcripts of all higher education years
7. Copies of supporting documents for all diplomas and degrees

Jan.–Mar. 15, 2027	Application follow-up from CPE Lyon
Mar. 15, 2027	Deadline for evaluation of applications by the French consulates (SCAC)
Mar. 16–27, 2027	CPE Lyon pre-selection & interview invitations
Apr. 1–10, 2027	Applicant interviews**
Apr. 30, 2027	Deadline to announce the Decision of the Academic Committee on Études en France
May 31, 2027	Student response deadline on the platform

*Application deadlines vary by country. Please check the deadline applicable to your country on the Études en France platform.

**IMPORTANT: The timing of your application depends partly on the processing of your file by Campus France and the relevant French consular authorities. Once your application reaches CPE Lyon, we will do our best to review it as quickly as possible. You may be contacted for an interview before the dates indicated above.

Late Oct.–mid-Nov. 2026	Online information sessions (register here)
From January 2027	Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Selected applicants are interviewed, after which the Academic Committee makes its admission decision.
May 31, 2027	Deadline to accept your place in the programme
